My Guiding units love a trip to the Thrift Store to find clothes or items they can upcycle into new and exciting things! I really love these Glass Owl and Toadstool Garden ornaments!

Even thought these tend to be Brownie Totems, I don’t often let my Brownie Units work with glass crafts, as the risk of it breaking and hurting someone is too high. I will admit some years, I’m lucky enough to have a group of Brownies that is capable of safely working with glass, usually when I have a smaller unit.

It can be a fun nostalgic project for Pathfinders or Rangers, and you can also make these ornaments with ceramics or even plastics found at your local thrift store.
