Spring has sprung and my Rangers, Pathfinders and Brownies are ready to do some orienteering! We are doing the Take It Outdoors Challenge with my PF & Rs and our local Guide unit will be joining us! Brownies will be doing the Rally ‘Round Brownies Challenge. Both will need a set of Cardinal and Ordinal Direction Cards, so I’ve made some up to laminate and keep for future activities as well.

All my units will also be singing, Pirate Ship, to help us learn or help us remember our cardinal directions. And also because its a favourite song across all my Guiding Units!!!

Of course, you could just write the directions on index cards etc, but I like the sustainability of doing it on waterproof cards and they may as well look nice! Anyway, sharing that resource with you here now!
