This excellent activity from Wye Marsh is great for both understanding the natural process of water filtration (for the Nature Discoveries or Our Shared Planet) and also for learning some cool camp skills (Camping and Adventure Skills). Of course, the water will still need to be purified of bacteria, etc., but no one wants to drink dirty water!
